Urban open-world RPG Neverness to Everness has crossed 1.4 billion Chinese Yuan, or roughly $207 million USD, in total revenue as of June 30, according to publisher Perfect World Games. The figure was shared on July 14 as part of the company’s interim earnings forecast for the first half of 2026, and it caps off a strong two months for the game since its release on April 29.
The game, often shortened to NTE, got off to a fast start. Its first day of sales brought in more than 100 million Chinese Yuan, or about $14.8 million USD at the time. By the end of its first month, global revenue had actually overtaken domestic sales in China, with Japan standing out as a particularly strong market.
Perfect World Games’ latest report breaks down where that money has come from. More than 60% of NTE’s total revenue has come from PC and Android players. On other platforms, the game has repeatedly landed in the top five highest grossing iOS apps, both in China and internationally, and it has topped PlayStation Store charts in markets including Japan.
The scale of NTE’s early revenue also stands out when compared to the company’s broader business. The 1.4 billion Chinese Yuan the game has brought in so far equals about 25% of Perfect World Games’ total gaming division revenue for the entire 2025 fiscal year, which came in at around 5.71 billion Chinese Yuan, or roughly $844 million USD. Whether that pace continues remains to be seen, but the numbers so far show how significant the game has already become for the company.
