Turning Email Into a Mini Boss Fight

FromSoftware’s hit action RPG Elden Ring has shipped more than 30 million copies worldwide. Known for its punishing boss battles, the game flashes iconic messages like “ENEMY FELLED” after every hard-fought victory. Inspired by this, the extension adds the same vibe to your everyday tasks.
Once installed, every time you hit send, a dramatic pop-up with the words “EMAIL SENT” appears. To make things even funnier, it includes the classic death sound effect. Suddenly, your daily work gets a sprinkle of gamer-style achievement.
How to Install the Extension

Unlike official Chrome Web Store apps, this extension is only available on GitHub. That means you’ll need to manually package and install it. By default, it supports Italian, so users must edit the content.js file to match their own language.
During testing, Japanese Gmail users found it only worked after changing Gmail’s language setting to English and replacing the Italian word “Invia” with “Send.”
A Fun Boost to Your Workday
It may not make emails disappear, but this playful extension adds a sense of reward to otherwise dull tasks. If you want to give it a try, the Email Sent Elden Ring Extension is available now via GitHub. Just remember to install and use it at your own risk.
Check out the Elden Ring Chrome Extension on the GitHub page for download and instructions.
