Konami has released a big season update for eFootball, bringing new features and improvements to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary. The update includes fresh content that reflects the recent summer transfer window, along with better gameplay and more ways to customize your experience.
The biggest addition is the “Link-Up Play” system, which lets players perform special combo moves when certain conditions are met. This feature works when two specific players – called the “Center Piece” and “Key Man” – are positioned correctly and have the right play styles. When these conditions line up, players can pull off enhanced abilities and special combination plays. Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is now available through this new feature, along with other players who can activate these special skills.

The legendary manager José Mourinho, who led Inter Milan to win three major trophies in the 2009-2010 season, joins the game with his own “Diagonal Long Pass A” link-up skill. Starting August 15, players can also get Wesley Sneijder and Samuel Eto’o as Epic players who work perfectly with Mourinho’s special move.
Free Rewards and Better Gameplay Experience
New players who complete the tutorial will receive a free Show Time: Lionel Messi card. The game also offers various ways to earn rewards through campaigns, special login bonuses, and achievements. These rewards include eFootball Coins for signing new players, training items, experience points, and GP currency. Players can now personalize their home stadiums in new ways. The update lets you mix and match different stadium colors, fan displays, and decorative items to create a unique look that matches your style.

Special Ambassador Editions featuring Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal are now on sale. These packs include strong players, training materials, custom card designs chosen by the players themselves, and stadium customization items. The update improves how the game feels to play, with more realistic player speed and movement. Moreover, defensive controls have been enhanced, and mobile players get new set-piece controls and a kick cancellation feature.
