Developer and publisher Idea Factory has announced that they have opened applications for DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia closed beta testing in anticipation for its PC release.

The test will run from 15 April 2024 to 10 May 2024 and applications are open to players aged 18 and above with a reliable internet connection.

Registrations for DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia closed beta testing will be open until the closed beta begins.

DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia is a visual novel based on the DATE A LIVE light novel and anime series and is a direct sequel to DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation. It had been previously released on the PlayStation 4 in 2020.

The Steam release will mark the game’s debut to Western markets as it comes with support for English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese subtitles.

The game will feature 9 different routes and 15 endings. Besides the 7 Spirits that have been encountered so far from the anime and the previous game, protagonist Shido Itsuka will meet a new Spirit named Ren who promises to grant 3 wishes to each Spirit.

The official date for DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia’s Steam release has not been announced.
