Christiano Ronaldo is the latest celebrity to join the roster of ambassadors for Garena Free Fire. He joins the game as playable character Chrono.
The footballer will be added to the game as part of “Operation Chrono”, which features futuristic slums and an overall sci-fi tone to it.
In anticipation of the new character, they’ve even launched a dedicated microsite for Chrono, though no further details are currently available.
These details will be gradually released from 9th December straight through to 21st December, with “The Rise of Chrono” showing if you play the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo, expressed his delight at partnering with Garena Free Fire, particularly as he worked closely with the team to bring Chrono to life. “It’s a great feeling having not only a character in Free Fire modelled after me, but also having the whole universe within the game changing along with it.”
“The Garena team has worked into the game tons of new features and elements for Operation Chrono. I hope Free Fire players all over the world are just as excited as I am!” said Cristiano Ronaldo.
Christiano Ronaldo is a Football icon, playing for the Football team Juventus and is captain of the Portugal National team, both teams where he plays a forward.
