Tite Kubo has released a free Bleach One Shot, letting fans get another taste of the popular Shonen anime to celebrate the iconic manga’s 20th anniversary.
The manga is available to read with official English translations on MangaPlus and VIZ, featuring art by the Kubo himself. The Bleach One Shot is free to read, though you’ll need to download either of the apps (and figure out which one is for your region) to read it.
Early impressions of the manga says that although it’s published as a one shot, fans can expect plenty of moments that will leave them chomping at the bit for more.
For the longest time Bleach has been considered one of the most iconic Shonen anime of its time, up there with Naruto and One Piece. It centers around a boy named Ichigo, who becomes a Shinigami after meeting a girl named Rukia.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2001, where it’s since spawned anime, movies and most recently even a mobile game. Ichigo would also go on to make guest appearances in other games, such as the Shonen Jump arena fighter Jump Force, alongside other Bleach characters.
The manga published its final chapter in August of 2016.
