Enter a dreadful nightmare with Vapor World: Over The Mind, a 2D Souls-like action game that we got a chance to try out at the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2023.

Vapor World: Over the Mind is a platform action game with a dynamic combat system where you can parry, block, dodge, and even execute stealth attacks on enemies. Set in a Gothic Victorian-era world where mysterious haunting dreams have devoured the protagonist and left him in his twisted mind.

The game features a surreal narrative in a nightmarish world of unimaginable terrors, illustrated with moody hand-painting to enhance the overall atmosphere.

Like many games that take inspiration from the Souls-like subgenre, Vapor World has challenging gameplay where health replenishment is limited and players have to overcome increasingly difficult enemies.

ALIVE, the developers of Vapor World: Over The Mind said that they planned to release the game as an early access sometime this winter, and will also include an Xbox Game Pass version.
