Gust and Koei Tecmo have officially announced that the Atelier Ryza Trilogy Deluxe Pack will launch on November 13, 2025. Known in Japan as Atelier Ryza Trilogy DX, this upgraded collection will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

This announcement also comes alongside a major milestone—Koei Tecmo and Gust confirmed that the Atelier Ryza Secret series has now surpassed 2.5 million units sold worldwide. The figure highlights the growing popularity of Ryza’s alchemical adventures, which were previously reported to have reached over two million units back in June 2023. With the upcoming release of the DX collection, fans can look forward to the most definitive version of the trilogy yet.
New Characters and Stories Across All Three Titles
Each of the three enhanced titles—Atelier Ryza DX, Atelier Ryza 2 DX, and Atelier Ryza 3 DX—will include additional characters and expanded storylines. These entries follow the journey of Reisalin Stout, tracing her transformation from a curious island girl into a skilled alchemist with many loyal companions.

In Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, Agatha Harmon, Kilo Shiness, and Romy Vogel will become playable party members for the first time. Players can also explore two brand-new side episodes: one focusing on Bos and Kilo’s meeting in the Underworld, and another that fills in the events between the first and second game.

Meanwhile, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy will see Empel Vollmer and Lila Decyrus returning as allies. A mysterious new map, Zelepsto Cave, awaits players as a relic of ancient research. There’s also an additional story chapter following Empel and Lila’s ongoing Underworld investigation. On top of that, Fi will now provide battle support while also helping expand Sensor Map areas during exploration.

Lastly, in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, three more characters—Clifford Diswell, Serri Glaus, and Kilo Shiness—will join the adventure. Their quest will take them to Craes Island, a map filled with traps, ruins, and hidden knowledge. A dedicated story episode featuring Clifford and Serri will also be available, putting players in control of Serri as she reconnects with her old companion.
Expanded System Updates and Custom Combat Features
All three DX titles will include significant gameplay enhancements, making them the most accessible and complete versions to date. A new Custom Combat mode allows players to tailor monster levels and behaviors, offering a fresh challenge for both veterans and newcomers.

Additional quality-of-life improvements help streamline the experience further. Basket and container storage limits have been increased, while basket capacity is now visible on the field UI. Players can also toggle visual elements like DOF to customize their display preferences more easily.
Depending on the game, even more improvements are included. In Atelier Ryza DX and Ryza 2 DX, players can now use gathering tools while riding Spirit Beasts. Ryza 2 DX and Ryza 3 DX offer better minimap readability, while Ryza 3 DX introduces auto-gathering Wild Beasts for easier material collection.
Platform Details and Upgrade Information
While this Deluxe Pack introduces sweeping enhancements, it does not support upgrades from the original trilogy to the DX versions. Past save data, trophies, and previously purchased DLC will not be transferable.

Two versions will be available for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, although game content remains identical. However, data compatibility between both Switch versions is not supported. On the PlayStation side, PS4 owners can upgrade to the digital PS5 version for free—only if using a disc-equipped PS5. Unfortunately, no upgrade path exists for users with the PS5 Digital Edition.
Pre-Order Bonuses and Save Data Rewards
Players who pre-order digitally before November 13, 2025, will receive exclusive bonus items: the “Thrilling” Photo Pose Set and a themed “Summer” photo frame usable across all three games. While the frame is shared across the titles, each pose set is unique to its respective game.

Fans with save data from the original Atelier Ryza trilogy or previous DX versions will unlock early-game bonus items in each title. These rewards can be collected at familiar locations such as Ryza’s Atelier or Secret Hideouts, depending on the specific entry.
Players can pre-order or purchase the Atelier Ryza Trilogy Deluxe Pack for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam through their respective digital storefronts.
