Alex is an American wrestler from New York who first appeared as the main character of Street Fighter III: New Generation in 1997. Alex is the third character addition to Street Fighter 6’s Year 3 roster. The Year 3 Character Pass includes four fighters: Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. Sagat was released in summer 2025, followed by C. Viper in autumn 2025. After Alex’s spring 2026 release, Ingrid will complete the Year 3 lineup in late spring 2026.
Players can expect to see the character added to the game’s growing roster in the coming months. Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. The game represents the seventh mainline entry in the Street Fighter franchise, which has sold over 47 million units since its debut 35 years ago.

As of November 2025, Street Fighter 6 has sold over 6 million units worldwide, demonstrating strong continued support from the fighting game community. The latest installment introduces new game modes including World Tour and Battle Hub, alongside the traditional Fighting Ground mode.
