The raging demon of Street Fighter, Akuma is being added to Mega Man X DiVE.

The is part of a collaboration between Mega Man X DiVE and Street Fighter V: Championship Edition which will run from the 29th of September 2021 16:00 UTC +8 to the 13th October 2021, 15:59 UTC +8.

Akuma himself will specifically be available from the 6th of October 16:00 UTC +8 to the 13th October 2021, 15:59 UTC +8.

Akuma is depicted in his appearance from Street Fighter V: Championship edition. As a playable character, we see him in the trailer using some of his iconic moves, most notably his signature move, the Shun Goku Satsu, literally translating to Instant Prison Murder, or often colloquially known as The Raging Demon.

Akuma first appeared in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a secret boss and playable character that the player can fight instead of M.Bison (Dictator) if the player defeats the previous eight opponents without any continues and either beats the high score or gets to the final round in under 25 mins.

Akuma has since appeared in every numbered Street Fighter game as well as a few of Capcom’s other crossover games like in the Marvel vs Capcom series.
