Akaza Arrives in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 on December 19

Aniplex and CyberConnect2 have confirmed that Akaza will launch as downloadable content for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 on December 19.

The character becomes the third fighter released under the Infinity Castle – Part 1 Character Pass. Notably, this update continues the game’s steady push toward expanding its late-story roster. As a result, fans can expect more Infinity Castle characters in future waves.

Akaza DLC Details

Players can purchase Akaza in two ways. First, the character will be available individually through the Akaza Character Pack. Alternatively, players can access him via the Infinity Castle – Part 1 Character Pass, which includes multiple upcoming fighters. Moreover, this version of Akaza draws directly from his Infinity Castle appearance. His updated design reflects his heightened threat level during the arc.

In addition, CyberConnect2 has refined his combat animations to emphasize speed, aggression, and relentless pressure. Because of this, Akaza stands out as a high-intensity fighter built for close-range dominance. His moveset focuses on fast strikes and overwhelming offense.
