Aggretsuko returns with Season 4 on Netflix which will be coming out on the 16th of December. This was announced today at the Netflix Japan Festival Anime Stream.

The “Aggretsuko” series depicts the daily life of office worker Retsuko, who copes with her frustrations with her boss and co-workers by belting out death metal. In this new season, will Retsuko and Haida’s relationship finally move forward? Season 4 of the Netflix Series “Aggretsuko” starts streaming worldwide December 16, only on Netflix.

From the trailer at least, it seems season 4 will focus more on Retsuko’s co-worker Haida who has had a crush on Restuko for the past three seasons.

The big changeup this time is a new boss character a wolf or dog of some kind who has some ideas of changing up the office including Transferring the accounting boss Director Tone, the antagonist of the first season, and firing recurring character Kabae, or at least asking her to leave although it seems she and Aggrestuko will be sneaking back into the office.

Aggrestuko or Aggressive Retsuko is a show created by Sanrio, the same people that made Hello Kitty about the modern office life of young accountant Restuko and the people she works with. Each episode is usually about 15 minutes long making it a bit more suited to Netflix’s being format.

Aggrestuko season 4 will premiere on the 16th of December. Other new Netflix Anime announcements include more information on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 and Tiger and Bunny season 2.
