Netflix has announced that they would be airing the previously-announced Season 2 for the superhero anime Tiger & Bunny, as part of their Netflix anime event this morning.
In the announcement, they said that Tiger & Bunny Season 2, also referred to as Tiger & Bunny Part 2, would come to Netflix on April, 2022.
They also said the first season, now called Part 1 would also be made available worldwide soon, though if you’re in the SEA region it’s already available for watching.
You can also check out a new key visual for the series, which shows a more mature looking Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks, Jr.

Not much else is known about the series- which features a society of superpowered humans called NEXT, where being a superhero is a career job as you take part in a reality TV program to score points and become the best hero.
Previously, all we’d heard about the second season was an open call for product placement in the show- another of its unique quirks. Each of the heroes are adorned in sponsors, all with real-world brands attached to them such as Barnaby sporting a giant Bandai logo and Wild Tiger having a Softbank logo.
In the Hulu release of the anime’s first season, however, the sponsor logos were all removed.
