Developer Foursaken Media has just posted new details on its upcoming third person shooter cum strategy game Noblemen: 1896, and it is shaping up to be something rather interesting. We have bestowed a new trailer with more details on gameplay.

In Noblemen: 1896, you plan your attacks from a top-down perspective, where you will subsequently be fighting those battles from a third person perspective. The game does not force you to play either modes fortunately, so if you set either the planning or attacking phase to auto-resolve. Of course, nothing is more effective than you doing everything yourself.

Fans of steampunk will appreciate the late 19th-century aesthetics which the game went with. It mixes fantasy with technology from the industrial revolution, giving the game a rather unique presentation.
