It is that time of the month again as Sony Malaysia announces the 6th batch of PS5 consoles which will be available for pre-order. Pre-orders for this batch of PS5s will officially start from 21st May 2021, Friday 00:01 (GMT+8) onwards.
Malaysian gamers should be familiar with this now. Sony Malaysia is offering both the physical and digital editions of their latest-gen console. Prices remain the same as the physical edition (the one with the ultra HD blu-ray disc drive) costs RM 2,299. Similarly, the thinner and disc drive-less digital edition is cheaper with a price of RM 1,869. Regardless of which edition of the console you choose, do be aware that its accessories and peripherals are limited to one console per pre-order.
Given the record-breaking number of daily Covid-19 cases in the country, pre-orders will understandably be carried out entirely online, just like the last batch of PS5 pre-orders. To pre-order a PS5, customers should visit Sony Malaysia Official Store on Lazada.
As we previously predicted, this batch of PS5 pre-orders will happen on the 3rd Friday of the month. This was the same pattern for the previous few PS5 pre-order batches. As a result, it is safe to assume that the 7th batch of PS5 pre-orders will take place on 18th June 2021.
