Players can now predownload Genshin Impact‘s version 1.4 update on their respective platforms, with the version update itself to take place on 17 March. The full post on the official forums also provide a peek at the upcoming events or features that will become available:

• 300x Primogems maintenance compensation
• New 4-star character, Cyro Polearm, Rosaria
• New weapons
  • Event Wish exclusive: 5-star bow Elegy for the End, 4-star sword The Alley Flash, 4-star catalyst Wine and Song
  • 4-star bow Alley Hunter will become available in future Wishes
  • Event exclusive 4-star bow, Windblume Ode
• Invitation of Windblume runs from 19 March to 5 April over four Acts
• Hangout Events, as detailed here
• New Archon Quest, “Chapter I: Act IV – We Will Be Reunited”, no date given
• New gadgets, recipes, NPC shop items, namecards, achievements
• New system to adjust world level
• Ability to see co-op member’s idle animation

More events will be coming post Windblume, with details to follow. The exact dates for the reruns for Venti has been revealed to run until 6 April with Sucrose, Razor and Noelle on rate up, while Childe’s has not been revealed or if there will be a third character feature. Right now, it’s just a matter of time, so go ahead and launch your Genshin client to predownload the 1.4 update and get ready for the deluge of Primogems.
