On YouTube, PlayStation uploaded a video titled “Resident Evil Village | Showcase teaser | PS5”. The teaser serves to hype up the game’s upcoming showcase. Watch the teaser here:

The short 32-second teaser might seem awfully familiar to some. This is because the same video previously surfaced online through Resident Evil’s YouTube channel and Twitter page.

Considering that Resident Evil Village is one of the most anticipated games of this year, it is no wonder that the showcase is gaining a lot of attention. Hosted by Brittney Brombacher, the showcase promises to reveal gameplay footage and even a new trailer. Fans can expect to hear news about other Resident Evil titles, especially since Capcom is recruiting beta testers for an unannounced Resident Evil multiplayer game.

Earlier last week, the same teaser for the showcase generated waves online, particularly the unnamed lady in the video.

Known throughout the internet as “tall vampire lady”, a simple image search online will reveal a substantial amount of her fan art. In addition, her height became a major topic online. In the Resident Evil Village teaser, she had to bend her body just to walk through a door.

Despite being in an unreleased game, tall vampire lady’s popularity even garnered her her own knowyourmeme page.
