Pokemon Café Mix Adds Multiplayer Snorlax Event

Pokemon Café Mix, the cute mobile cafe game, is getting its first big event. This event will see players have to form large teams to feed a hungry Snorlax.

This event will run from September 25th to October 8th. It is the first event of this nature in the free-to-play game.

This Snorlax is more than just a hungry customer, though. Completing this event will allow you to recruit the hungry Snorlax into your cafe. This Snorlax will have its own skills to help you complete puzzles.

You’ll need to form teams of thirty to take on the Snorlax, though don’t worry. These people can be added irrespective of your friends list, so you won’t have to worry about adding strangers to recruit Snorlax.

To celebrate the event, Pokemon Cafe Mix is also giving players bonuses. For every new Pokemon recruited, players will receive 300 Golden Acorns. In addition, you can spend real-world money to buy a Team Order Pack. This pack contains the new Snorlax Maniac Pikachu.

This event seems very similar to Raids in Pokemon Go. Aside from teaming up with strangers to take down a large enemy, the ability to recruit them at the end of it should be interesting for the casual Café game.

Pokemon Café Mix is available for Nintendo Switch and Android devices.
