Overlord: Mass for the Dead, the smartphone game adaptation of the Overlord novel series, will be having a collab event with another novel series: Saga of Tanya the Evil, also known as Yojo Senki. Some details of the collab were revealed in a new video.
First of all, there will be a login bonus campaign. It seems there will also be event-related missions as well, so don’t forget to do them.
Tanya herself will be a playable unit, at 4-star rarity. Likewise, she will also be summonable at 5-star rarity, along with Viktoriya (4-star), Matheus (4-star) and Vooren (3-star). Additionally, three 5-star “Chaos Relics” will be in the summoning pool. A 5-star “Chaos Relic” will be available through the event story too. You can also expect an event-original story with the collab.
A Twitter campaign for the collab will see players be able to get signed “shikishi”. This is likely only for Japanese residents. You can check out the website which is decked out for the collab event. There’s a retweet campaign that ends on 31 October 6:00 PM JST for some Chaos Stones as well.
Overlord features Momonga, guild leader of Ainz Ooal Gown. His guild is the strongest in the game Yggdrasil, until the incredibly immersive Dive MMORPG shuts down. Somehow , Momonga remains stuck in the game as his avatar, while the NPCs have gained their own life. Renaming himself Ainz Ooal Gown, he seeks to figure out the mystery, while also doing some nefarious deeds in the process.
In Saga of Tanya the Evil, an unnamed, atheist salaryman is murdered by a disgruntled worker he fired. He is confronted by “Being X”, who reincarnates him as a young girl named Tanya Degurechaff. In a European world of magic that looks embroiled in World War I, Tanya must either believe in God or die a natural death. She’ll be putting to work some ruthless plans…
