Everstone Studio has announced that Where Winds Meet will receive its 1.3 update, titled “Spring’s Bliss,” on February 6th. The open-world Wuxia action RPG is adding new gameplay features and Spring Festival-themed content to the game.
A new playable Sect called “The Masked Troupe” will become available on February 13. This Sect combines traditional Chinese opera culture with martial arts combat. Players using this Sect will fight using techniques inspired by opera performances, including singing, acting, and stage movements. The combat style focuses on rhythm-based attacks that blend performance art with martial arts skills.

Version 1.3 introduces “Contortion,” a new mystic skill that lets players shrink their character temporarily. This ability allows access to smaller spaces and can be used during combat for tactical advantages. Players can try out this skill in the new “Tiny Adventure” Spring Festival activity. Two new world bosses are also joining the game: the “Drunk Martial Artist” and “Coffin Master.” These bosses feature different fighting styles and can be encountered while exploring the game world.

The update brings a new Guild War league with a structured competition system. Players will start with placement matches to determine their grouping, then move into a regular season with group-based rankings. Participants can earn rewards including Echo Jade and Hero Titles by competing alongside their guild members. From February 6 to March 5, Where Winds Meet will host Spring Festival celebration events. The activities focus on carnival games, street festivities, and seasonal themes. Players can participate in the Spring Festival Fair events to earn cosmetic items and other rewards.
