Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025 once again transforms Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre into the region’s biggest hub for Japanese pop culture. With crowds filling every hall and booth, this year’s edition delivers a full spectrum of anime, gaming, art, cosplay, and community experiences. We were on the ground throughout the event, exploring the highlights that made AFA 2025 one of the most vibrant editions yet.
AFA Next Stage: Live Energy From Morning to Night
This year’s AFA Next Stage keeps the atmosphere lively with a steady lineup of musical acts, guest appearances, and creator showcases. Across the day, audiences were treated to a variety of performances, interviews, and spotlight segments, each bringing a different flavour to the stage. The energy never dipped, with fans filling the space from the moment the program began.
Creators & Cosplayers: A Hub of Art, Merch, and Talent
The Creators and Cosplayers section continues to be one of AFA’s most bustling areas. Rows of artists offered keychains, charms, prints, and unique handmade merchandise, while cosplayers brought characters to life throughout the venue. It was a constant mix of creativity and passion, showcasing the heart of the community at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025.
Major Booth Highlights: From Anime Worlds to Interactive Zones
Several major exhibitors delivered standout experiences this year. The Bandai Namco Entertainment booth drew large crowds with playable demos, interactive activities, and even the Code Vein II motorcycle, which became a popular photo spot.
Nearby, TOHO Animation featured titles such as Frieren: Beyond the Journey’s End, The Apothecary Diaries, and Spy x Family. Dedicated message boards and photo areas allowed fans to leave notes and snap memories of their favourite series.
Crunchyroll’s booth remained one of the most visited, offering attractions based on Lord of Mysteries, Fire Force, Kimetsu no Yaiba, and more. Interactive zones, including a Fire Force–themed challenge, gave fans plenty to do beyond browsing.
Manga Plus showcased popular series such as Spy x Family, Kagurabachi, Kaiju No. 8, and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, complete with a fun quiz section where visitors could win stickers. Makoto Shinkai’s booth paid homage to his filmography with displays celebrating his many iconic works, while the MUSE booth offered an expansive range of merch across countless anime titles.
TCG and Anime Exhibits: From Bandai Cards to JoJo’s Steel Ball Run
At the Bandai TCG area, fans enjoyed card game favourites including Digimon, Dragon Ball, One Piece, and many more. Matches were ongoing all day, filling the space with competitive excitement.
Meanwhile, the JoJo Caravan brought together content from Parts 1–7 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, with Steel Ball Run receiving special focus in anticipation of its upcoming anime adaptation.
From Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! to Kadokawa’s showcase of series such as Delicious in Dungeon, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, and The Summer Hikaru Died, nearly every corner of AFA 2025 offered something new to discover.
