Cygames and Arc System Works have announced that Sandalphon will be joining the fighter roster of Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising later this month. The character will be available for purchase on February 26 for $7.99, marking the first addition of Character Pass 2.
The developers have outlined their DLC roadmap for Character Pass 2, with four more characters scheduled for release throughout 2025 and early 2026. New fighters are planned to arrive in spring 2025, summer 2025, fall 2025, and early 2026.
The arrival of Sandalphon comes as part of the ongoing post-launch support for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, which is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. The game publisher has teased that beloved characters will be joining the roster as part of Character Pass 2, though specific details about future fighters remain under wraps.
