In her quest to collect debts from her enemies, Topaz joined the playable cast of Honkai Star Rail on 27th October 2023, and her featured banner has generated quite a revenue.

Now that a new patch is up and Huohuo exorcised her way into Honkai Star Rail, let’s take a closer look at the revenue generated by Topaz, the Senior Manager of the Strategic Investment Department.

Both Topaz and her sidekick Numby had quite a reputation among the community even before her release, with many fan art and discussions surrounding her.

For this analysis, we look at data provided by the mobile analyst website AppMagic and compare her banner’s revenue to other banners in Honkai Star Rail.

Note that the data may not accurately represent the revenue generated only by Topaz’s banner as the Light Cone banner, battle passes, and other store items, as well as Seele’s banner rerun also contributed to the earnings during the period.

Since her release on 27th October up until the end of her banner on 14th November, Topaz has managed to net $27,049,586 USD in revenue.

For comparison, the banner before Topaz was Jingliu and she generated $56,793,090 USD during her banner runtime, this means Topaz had made roughly $29 Million USD less than Jingliu. 

For the first day, Topaz’s banner generated $5,198,276 USD in revenue, while Jingliu generated $7,510,553 USD on her first day, $2 Million USD more than Topaz. 

Despite her popularity as a character, she did not perform as well as Jingliu during her banner runtime.

A personal speculation would be that likely because the former sword champion of the Luofu, Jingliu is also a fan-favorite character and many had pulled for her before Topaz, thus lacking sufficient Stellar Jades for her.

That being said, Topaz still outperformed Luocha, who only managed to net $12,984,660 USD within 21 days.

Much like Jingliu, she failed to surpass Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng’s banner sales, which accrued $59,994,511 USD throughout its runtime, 

However, she failed to surpass Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng’s banner sales, which accrued $59,994,511 USD throughout its runtime, approximately $32 Million USD more than Topaz and the rerun of Seele’s banner.
