To close off the weekend’s festivities, the organizers of the Busan Indie Connect Festival have announced the winners of the 2023 BIC Special Award.

This award is chosen by various sponsors, as well as a public and media vote for various games available at the event.

Rather than just have one category, however, the 2023 BIC Special Award winners are split up into the various bodies doing the choosing, such as publishers like Devolver Digital and Nicalis.

The winners of the awards are as follows:

STOVE INDIE PICK: Lumine Night

NICALIS PICK: Thanks, Light

PROUDNET PICK : Final Knight

DEVOLVER DIGITAL PICK: PIO

PUBLIC PIC: Pink Frog

MEDIA PICK: SANABI

One Pick INDIE: Archetype Blue

The 2023 BIC Special Award is the final awards session for BIC Festival 2023, following yesterday’s 2023 BIC Awards which saw winners in the General Division among star-studded titles like Dungeon Drafters and A Space For The Unbound.

The event has been a three-day expo of indie games from around the world, allowing developers to get their work seen by potential business partners as well as the general public.
