Sanrio Characters Miracle Match is the cutest upcoming Dead by Daylight-like

Sanrio Characters Miracle Match is an adorable asymmetric survival game similar to Dead by Daylight, but trades the horror for cuteness. Just look how adorable the gameplay is in this video below:

Sanrio and Imagineer announced the game yesterday. It will be available on iOS and Android devices in Japan, with no word of an English release at the time of writing. Currently, the game is accepting pre-registrations on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The pre-registration rewards are as such:

• 10,000 pre-registrations: Coins x 1000
• 30,000 pre-registrations: Jewel x 100
• 50,000 pre-registrations: Character – Hello Mimmy

In terms of gameplay, the game lets players play as various Sanrio characters, such as the legendary Hello Kitty. At launch, the game’s roster consists of 36 different Sanrio characters, each with their own special abilities. More characters are expected to join the game in the future. The game also promises customisation options, so players can make the adorable characters even cuter.

Characters are divided into Hunters and Challengers, where the Hunters must capture the Challengers before the time limit. On the other hand, the Challengers will need to evade the Hunters while also rescuing any teammate who has been captured. However, unlike Dead By Daylight, Miracle Match has 2 Hunters go up against 6 Challengers.

As of late, the asymmetric survival genre has seen new titles like Dragon Ball: The Breakers which stray away from Dead By Daylight‘s proven formula. We’re definitely keen to see how Sanrio Characters Miracle Match turns out!
