Bandai Namco Entertainment says that you’ll be able to play Gundam Battle Operation 2 on PC with your friends during the first public beta from the 15th of April to 17th, along with a second one the following weekend.
To sign up for the beta, you simply need to go to the game’s Steam page and opt-in, and you should be able to download and install the game when it’s ready.
No full release date for Gundam Battle Operation 2 has been given, though it’s hard to believe it won’t be soon- promoting the game was one of the points of the Esports Colony outlined at the Gundam Conference this year, alongside the upcoming Gundam Evolution.
Gundam Battle Operation 2 is a squad-based team shooter with gacha mechanics, where you’ll be able to pilot mobile suits from across the Universal Century in battles against each other.
The game has been free-to-play on PS4 and PS5 for years now, with strong fan request for the game to come to PC.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is an online free-to-play action game released exclusively for the Playstation 4 via the Playstation Store in July of 2018.
Unlike Gundam Battle Operation NEXT, the first spinoff to the original Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation, Battle Operation 2 is closer to a true sequel that keeps and expands upon the gameplay mechanics of the original title, and completely abandons the fast-paced, arcade-styled elements of NEXT.
The game was initially only released in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. An English language option was added on October 24, 2018. The game was released to western territories, Including North America and several European countries in October of 2019.
