HoYoverse’s new RPG Zenless Zone Zero has announced it’s latest update, Version 1.7 – Bury Your Tears with the Past will release this April 23!

This update will bring an epic finale to Season 1, with the truth behind the Sacrifice crisis finally brought to light and Proxies diving into the harrowed past of Vivian and the mysterious end of Hugo. Following Hugo’s fall into the Hollow, Mockingbird and TOPs continue their escalating tractions with more secrets to unfold.

Players will partner with Vivian, as Proxies will break into enemy lines in search of the Sacrifice Core, all the while uncovering the past she shared with old faces and expose the conspiracy of the Exaltist’s. The climax of the Sacrifice will come to a close, with a new ally in the ranks and all truths to be revealed.

Two S-Rank Agents of Mockingbird will join the fray and bring elegance to the battlefield.

Vivian – an Ether Anomaly Agent who enters the battlefield as if its her own dancefloor paired with a parasol and a rapier, shifting between aerial attacks and grounded attacks. Her Basic Attack skill Heartbloom amps Anomaly damage that synergizes an allies EX Special Attack to boost team corruption damage.

Hugo – An Ice Attack Agent who wields a suitcase which transforms into a magical scythe that slashes through enemies with catastrophic area sweeps. Hugo can trigger the Totalize effect when enemies are hit when stunned, causing an elevation of damage based on an enemies stun duration.

Alongside these characters will be Robin – the Mockingbird’s Bangboo companion, petting enemies with randomized cards with a range of effects.

In addition, the Physical Anomaly Agent Jane and Fire Stun Agent Lighter will join a rerun banner in the 1.7 update.

New challenges await Proxies allowing them to unwind through in-game events. In the new “Say It With Flowers” event, it will allow players to take on the role of a flower shop manager, creating beautiful floral arrangements for different sets of clients.

As players complete different floral commissions, they will unlock an interactive floral arrangement gameplay for Quality Time mode. Players will receive exclusive rewards such as an A-Rank Bangboo Overtime and more.

For more thrill, Bangboo Bash returns with ranked mode. Proxies will compete in survival and obstacle courses, from there earning points based on ranks and placements in matches.

Players who rise above the leaderboard can receive exclusive event titles such as Polychromes and many more rewards to collect.

The finale to Zenless Zone Zero’s Season 1 will be available to play on PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5, PC via Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android.
