XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe announced that Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta will arrive on Nintendo Switch in the west in early 2026. The game first launched for Switch in Japan on May 22, 2025, and now it finally makes its way overseas.
This release is more than a simple port since it features newly arranged background music and updated features. Previously, the game was available on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam, and PS Vita, but this version brings the adventure to Switch players for the first time.
Day One Edition Details
To celebrate the launch, a physical Day One Edition will be available for $59.99 through the Marvelous USA Online Store and at participating retailers. This special package offers more than just the base game.
The set includes a 3D acrylic keychain and diorama, a two-disc soundtrack with 36 tracks, and five art cards. It also features a 21-inch by 24-inch cloth map of Celceta, all housed in a specially illustrated outer box.
About the Game
The story begins as Adol Christin awakens in the land of Celceta with no memories beyond his own name. Soon after, he encounters Duren, a thief who claims to have traveled alongside him in recent weeks.
Together, they earn the trust of a Romun Army general who assigns them a dangerous task: chart the mysterious Great Forest of Celceta. However, no one has ever returned from this expedition, raising the stakes of their mission immediately.
As Adol journeys deeper into the wilderness, he encounters individuals who seem to recognize him. Some may be allies and others deceivers, so he must carefully decide who to trust while reclaiming his past.
This adventure follows directly after the events of Ys X: Nordics and serves as an important bridge in the series. It also laid the foundation for gameplay systems later refined in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA.
