PlayStation just started an online/physical treasure hunt for players to look for Treat Codes, earning them the chance to win a PS5. This was announced over their YouTube channel with the following video:

A total of 14 codes will appear over the next two weeks until 1 March 2022 in unexpected places. As to what exactly these unexpected places are, PlayStation has stated that the codes can appear online, in key locations or at events across areas including, but not limited to: sport, gaming, film and music. These codes are global in nature. Some of them may even appear in more than one place.

These codes resemble a sequence of 10 PlayStation controller inputs (square, triangle, R1, etc.). Since each code grants a chance to win the elusive console, participants can submit a maximum of 14 entries, with the deadline being 7 March 2022. If the correct code is entered, a question will pop up in which the participant will need to answer correctly in order to stand a chance to win the console.

To take part, all you need is a PSN ID while meeting the legal requirements of your country. Codes can be keyed in via the Treat Codes widget at their PSN account.
