Welcoming the New Dance Era with Just Dance 2023 Edition Announcement

During the Ubisoft Forward 2022 livestream event, Ubisoft had revealed that the newest installment for Just Dance franchise will launch Just Dance 2023 Edition this holiday season for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox Series X & S console platforms.

Just Dance 2023 will be entering a new eta as a dance-on-demand platform which will bring in players free content updates on an ongoing basis as well as introducing a set of new features:

Online Multiplayer

For the first time in the Just Dance franchise, players can enjoy the full game online that supports up to five of their friends or other players around the world with Online Groups.

Players will need be connected to the host’s menu, which allows them to interact with one another through the new emote stickers system, choose songs and hit the dance floor together regardless of where you’re are. Online Groups will support crossplay, while players can continue to enjoy local multiplayer as well.

New Art Direction and Redesigned User Interface

Players will be able to jump into a whole new world of Just Dance which is completed with a fresh coat of paint to both the looks and feels of the game, bringing in an immersive 3D world along with intuitive navigation menus.

Powerful Recommendation System

Just Dance 2023 will being in a brand new and improved recommendation system that offers players a personalised and curated playlist of songs which can be accessed easily at their fingertips.

Progression and Rewards

Players will be able to move up the ranks with the game’s brand new progression system which allows them to earn in-game points everytime they complete a dance. These points can be exchanged to unlock new rewards such as customisable dancer cards where players can personalise to fit their own tastes by modifying the avatar, background, name badge and alias. The points can also be used to redeem in-game stickers, which can be used to communicate with other players in Online Groups.

Free Content Updates

Just Dance will be providing regular and ongoing updates so that players can expect new game modes, songs and themed seasons.

Just Dance 2023 Edition Song List Reveal

Just Dance 2023 Edition will be featuring 40 new songs and universes ranging from chart-topping hits, viral internet phenomena and original songs, which include:

Additionally, the Just Dance Controller App will allow you to turn your smartphone into a control with its phone-scoring technology that allows up to six players to dance without any additional accessories and its available for both Android and iOS for free.
