Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have announced a delay for their upcoming immersive romance adventure game Venus Vacation PRISM: DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme. The game, originally scheduled for release on March 6, 2025, will now launch on March 27, 2025, in Japan and Asia.
The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and DMM Games Player. Language support varies by version, with the Japanese release supporting only Japanese, while the “Global Version” will offer English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.

The upcoming title brings several notable features:
- New hairstyle system that can be unlocked by increasing fan count or meeting specific conditions
- A new outfit acquisition method that doesn’t rely on “gacha” or “gifts”
- A sit-ups minigame that allows players to interact with characters
- A collaboration with illustrator Yom, featuring special outfits in the Digital Deluxe Edition

Producer Yasunori Sakuda addressed fans directly, explaining the reason for the delay for Venus Vacation PRISM: DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme. “We will continue to create an immersive romantic adventure game that will deliver a special experience for everyone,” Sakuda stated, emphasizing the team’s commitment to quality. The development team aims to enhance the game’s quality by adding more episodes and improving the overall experience. Sakuda apologized for the inconvenience and asked fans for their patience.
The Yom collaboration includes uniquely designed tights with adjustable denier levels and color options, along with special in-game episodes.
