Square Enix has announced that the release date for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth has been changed to December 22nd, 2022.
In a statement, Square Enix mentions that the date was changed to December 22nd as Square Enix would like to take more development time to improve the quality of the game.
“We would like to take additional development time to improve the quality of the title, and the release date has been changed. We sincerely apologize to our customers who have been looking forward to the release of this product”, the statement reads.
From the tweet of the official Valkyrie Elysium twitter, they mentioned that those who have pre-ordered Valkyrie Elysium Digital Deluxe Edition from the PlayStation Store will receive their copy of the game on December 22nd, 2022.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is an RPG game by Square Enix that follows Valkyrie Lenneth as she travels through Midgard collecting the souls of slain heroes.
The game was originally released on the PSP as a port of the original Valkyrie Profile on the PlayStation.
The 2022 release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is the port version of the PSP for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The game also has a mobile version available to play on iOS and Android.
