Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin Global ends service

Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin global server ends service, as announced via the game’s Facebook page. The full statement is provided as follows:

Dear Einherjar,
Thank you so much for being part of our journey beyond death which began with release in April 2019.
In order to create a unique experience for global users, we added new features, and made global content for the game.
As much as we would like to continue providing new content for all of you, we regretfully announce that we are ending service as of 31. August 2020 due to difficulties.
We hope to see you all again in a different world.
More events and campaigns still await you, so by all means, we would like you to play until the end!

It managed to last just over a year at least, for Valkyrie Profile fans, who might have to once again migrate to the Japanese servers which have been running since 2016. Considering the Valkyrie Anatomia global server ends service on 31 August 2020, we might expect more information sooner than later regarding any possible compensation or last hurrah events so soon after its first anniversary.

The game is currently still available for download at time of writing.
