Uma Musume game gets new gameplay trailer

Horse racing meets japanese idol management in the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby mobile game, coming out on 24th February 2021.

With just over a month before it launches, Paka Tube uploaded a new promo video for the game. For those who are not aware, Paka Tube is the official YouTube channel of Gold Ship, one of the characters in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. You can watch the video here:

The PV showcases gameplay which many of the anime-watchers would definitely be familiar with. Players assume the role of a trainer, tasked with raising the horse girls to success on the field and on the stage.

Narrated by Azumi Maki and Rena Maeda, who voice Special Week and Grass Wonder, the trailer highlights the management aspects in the game. Featuring Silence Suzuka, the trailer shows the player raising the horse girl’s various stats, such as speed, stamina and power.

Besides managing the girls’ stats, a PVP element is also present in the game. Players get to pit their team of horse girls head to head against the teams of other players. To supplement this, a ranking system will distribute rewards base on each player’s ranking.

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby is not only an upcoming mobile game, but also an anime. Currently, the second season is available on Crunchyroll.
