The recent Nintendo event ended with another tease for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, however, we now know the game’s official name: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.

They have also given a release date for the game: May 12th, 2023. The game is almost here from what we’ve seen it looks great.

Nintendo is still being rather quiet about the game, once again only showing a small tease of Link flying through the skies above Hyrule before snapping to the title. You can watch the teaser trailer for the game below on their Youtube channel:

“The title for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been revealed! The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch on Nintendo Switch May 12th, 2023.”

The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild was announced to be in development over five years ago at the end of Nintendo’s 2017 E3. They’ve been slowly drip-feeding new information about the game but it seems it is now almost ready for launch.

Chances are feel be seeing a lot more information about the game as we near its official launch.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom will launch exclusively on The Nintendo Switch on the 12th of May 2023.
