The Game Awards, the gaming industry’s premier annual celebration, has unveiled its 2024 nominees, showcasing the year’s most outstanding achievements in video games. The nominations, determined by a diverse panel of over 130 global media outlets and influencers. This year’s nominees are led by ASTRO BOT and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with seven nominations each, including the coveted Game of the Year award.
In the publisher race, Sony Interactive Entertainment has 16 nominations across its portfolio, while Square Enix and Xbox Game Studios follow closely with 12 nominations each. SEGA rounds out the top publishers with 11 nominations. Gaming enthusiasts can participate in the selection process of the Game Awards 2024 Nominees through authenticated voting on the official website and Discord platform until December 11 at 6:00 p.m. PT.
