Coming early 2020, Pokemon Go will have its own globalized battle system called “Go Battle League”. This was announced on October 21 in their official website and shared on their Twitter yesterday.

Pokemon Go already has a battle system that is available among friends who have reached “ULTRA” or “BEST” friend ranking. Based on the official website, you will need to walk to earn entry into the Go Battle League, then battle opponents from around the globe through an online matching system. A ranking will be shown for the “Go Battle League”.

No further details are available. Niantic does say that they will have an insight video that will be coming out soon, so let’s hope that will gives us more details on what to expect and prepare!
