The Alchemist of Ars Magna PlayStation Release Details

Players on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 can expect both English and Japanese voice-over options. Text language support includes English, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
For players in Japan, the PlayStation 5 version will launch physically and digitally. The standard physical edition is priced at 7,700 yen (approximately RM239), while the limited edition costs 12,100 yen (approximately RM376).
The limited edition includes several bonuses such as the original soundtrack, an acrylic stand, a pinup card, and a digital art book.
Fantasy Story of Alchemy, Gods, and a Dying World

The Alchemist of Ars Magna takes place in the world of Arcaus, a once peaceful land protected by artificial gods known as the Gods of Creation. Over time, a destructive force called Dust begins consuming the world, corrupting these guardians and transforming them into terrifying Gods of Misfortune.
Players follow a young alchemist who enrolls at the prestigious Cagliostro Academy, where powerful students study combat, research, and alchemy. The protagonist must grow stronger through friendships, battles, and difficult choices while helping save the world from collapse.
The game combines classic fantasy storytelling with academy life themes, making it stand out among modern dungeon RPGs.
Turn-Based Battles and Crest System

Combat in The Alchemist of Ars Magna uses turn-based battles featuring parties of up to five characters. Players must carefully use each character’s abilities, support skills, healing options, and attacks to overcome enemies.
One of the game’s key mechanics is the Crest System, where players make contracts with gods to gain crystals containing divine powers. These crests can be equipped to weapons known as Ether Gear, boosting stats and granting new abilities.
This system allows players to customize builds and experiment with different strategies throughout the adventure.
Alchemy Crafting and School Life Features

Beyond combat, players can also create useful items through the synthesis system. Crafted tools can support exploration, help during battles, or progress the main story.
The title also includes relationship-building and school life elements. Players will interact with heroines, classmates, and rival academies, adding a social layer to the fantasy RPG experience.
A Strong Option for JRPG Fans on PlayStation

With its blend of turn-based combat, alchemy crafting, academy storytelling, and world-saving stakes, The Alchemist of Ars Magna could appeal to fans of traditional Japanese role-playing games.
Its arrival on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on September 17, 2026, gives console players another chance to experience this unique fantasy adventure.
