Clash Mini, a game that was released regionally in November 2021, has been announced for end of service by Supercell.

Ever since its initial launch, Clash Mini has been an anticipated game among Supercell fans, with many eagerly waiting for its global launch. But alas it would seem that the day would never come.

According to the announcement by Supercell, the developers stated that they strived to make Clash Mini the best game they could ever since its launch into Beta. But they ultimately decided to pull the plug as they felt that the game was good, but not the game that would fulfill their dreams.

“The past few updates of Clash Mini have shown significant improvements thanks to you on all possible fronts that we cared about, but our quality bar was not met even after all those improvements,” said the developers.” Namely, in the last few updates, we have seen peak interest from both our Creator Program and our Community on Reddit and Discord to provide constructive feedback as to how the game could be improved, and we have spent a lot of time trying to fit all of it into the game.”

“We also created incredible content with all of you, from very fun Creator-made Mini Minutes to Stage Channels on Discord and incredibly creative Mini Mondays that highlighted your true love for the game. And for that, we could not be more thankful!”

As a last hurrah for the game, the developers will host one last Discord Stage Channel with the community to honor their tradition, they will also explain how they arrived at this decision after such a long journey with Clash Mini.

However, the developers did mention that due to seeing much love and potential for Clash Mini, the development team will commit to bringing Clash Mini into their other game, Clash Royale to reach the game’s full potential.

So even though we will be saying goodbye to Clash Mini as an independent game, this will surely not be the end for the game as a whole, as we can anticipate its eventual release into Clash Royale.

The Clash Mini servers will close at 8 am on April 25th, 2024 (UTC), After this period, players will no longer be able to play or download the game from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

For players who have made purchases in Clash Mini, they can transfer their value to the equivalent in-game currency in another live Supercell game, such as Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Hayday, Brawl Stars, and Clash Royale.

In the meantime, all in-game purchases for Clash Mini will be disabled. And a pop-up message will appear in-game, notifying players as the game gets closer to its end.

Clash Mini is a real-time auto battler that was developed by Supercell and initially released as a Beta in November 2021.

In its initial years, the game is limited to Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. And while it slowly branched out to more countries like Hong Kong throughout its lifespan, it never received an official global release.

The characters in Clash Mini are heavily based on Supercell’s other IPs, such as Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

Looking at AppMagic statistics, Clash Mini has amassed a total revenue of over $2 million USD over its lifespan.

Its highest peak in revenue was during launch, with it amassing over $500K USD, but the revenue quickly dipped after that, with only slight peaks from time to time.

As of writing, the game has amassed over 2.5 million downloads.
