Capcom announces a new version of Street Fighter 4 for iPhone and iPad to release this summer. Titled Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition, the game will be porting almost everything from the original Street Fighter IV but in an improved version.

3 characters – Poison, Ibuki and Dudley will join the mobile cast and you will be able to fight against AI or online opponents. Comparing to the previous Street Fighters (that are outdated from the widescreen era), the new version will provide higher resolution visuals with a true widescreen support. The game also supports external controller and gamepads.From all we know, Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition will release sometime this summer.
