Capcom has confirmed that Yasmine, the first Year 4 downloadable content character for Street Fighter 6, will be available on August 3. Yasmine is a fighter from the Philippines who trained in Eskrima alongside her older brother under their grandfather’s guidance. After her brother suddenly disappeared, she set aside her Karambit knife, but was eventually inspired to pick it back up and search for him after watching videos of a French supermodel on FooTube. Her story and fighting style are rooted in Filipino martial arts, with her move names written in Filipino.
Hailing from the Philippines, Yasmine will rush you down with her skills in Eskrima on August 3! 🗡️

Her moveset is built around high-speed Eskrima techniques. Daloy ng Tubig is a quick forward knife attack that can start or extend combos, and it leads into Alon, a follow-up multi-slice attack that changes depending on the strength used, with clean hits putting her into Bayani Mode, a powered-up state. Talim ng Hangin has her spin forward in a low sweep that can close distance or bait opponents, also triggering Bayani Mode on a successful hit. Mukha ng Langit is a front-flip move that can catch opponents off guard with either a forward swipe or a spinning back hit. Lipad ng Agila sends her into the air with a flurry of kicks, while Pangil sa Likuran is a projectile that travels at different speeds to help her pressure opponents.
Yasmine also has three Super Arts. Her Level 1, Hiwa ng Kalangitan, kicks the opponent into the air and slams them back down before shifting her into Bayani Mode. Her Level 2, Nakatagong Lakas, gives her a temporary boost that lets her use special moves while staying in Bayani Mode, and includes a move called Linya ng Liwanag where she dashes past the opponent and hits them from behind. Her Level 3, Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita, has her spin the opponent, gather energy, and finish with an all-out attack.
Players who own or purchase the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass will get access to Yasmine on launch day. She comes with two outfits: Outfit 1 is her Eskrima combat attire, while Outfit 2 puts her in a school uniform. The school uniform can be unlocked by maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode, or purchased with Fighter Coins.
Yasmine is the first of four characters confirmed for Year 4. The rest of the lineup includes Arjun, Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, and Bosch. Alongside Yasmine’s release, Capcom will also be rolling out Battle Balance adjustments for the full Street Fighter 6 roster, and a Battle Change List will be available to review before maintenance begins.
