MAGES. has officially announced STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT, a reimagining of the beloved 2009 visual novel, during the “STEINS;GATE 15th Live: One World” anniversary concert. MAGES. will launch the game in Japan in 2025, though they haven’t yet revealed specific platforms.

The reboot will feature enhanced graphics and introduce new story elements while building upon the original Science Adventure series title. MAGES. has confirmed that original character designer huke will return to the project, ensuring artistic continuity with the classic version.

STEINS;GATE, which first debuted on Xbox 360 in Japan on October 15, 2009, has since found its way to multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation consoles, and Nintendo Switch. The series has garnered significant success, spawning multiple anime adaptations including STEINS;GATE and Steins;Gate 0, both currently available on Crunchyroll.
