Japan-based game developer Future Tech Lab announced that it is working on an a new idol game for the Android and iOS platforms known as Starlight Connect, due for a release in 2019.
Starlight Connect is rhythm game which features a virtual vocal unit called Grand Chariot comprising seven “cosmo idols” from other planets. A whooping 88 original songs will be available at launch, so if this is your cup of tea, you are in luck.
Despite the genre, the developer saw fit to include some sort of backstory. Seven girls throughout the galaxy are planning to conquer the earth will music although they are unable to meet our standards of being idols. Players take on the role of an intellectual being investigating idols and have to make these girls popular on earth.
