Square Enix has announced a special orchestra concert called CHRONO TRIGGER Orchestra Concert: The Melody that Crosses Time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Chrono Trigger, one of the most beloved RPGs they ever made. Chrono Trigger first came out in 1995 and is widely considered one of the greatest video games of all time. Fans love it for its time-traveling story and memorable music. This new concert will bring that famous music to life with a full orchestra performance.

The concert will feature the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by internationally known conductor Nicholas Buc. During the performances, screens will show famous scenes from the game alongside the music. The event will take place over two days with three separate shows. All performances will be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18, 2026.
Tickets are now available through a pre-sale lottery that opened on September 1, 2025. Two ticket types are offered: S-tier seats cost ¥11,000 (about $75 USD or £55 GBP), while A-tier seats cost ¥8,800 (about $60 USD or £44 GBP). Fans can enter the ticket lottery through the official Square Enix e-STORE. Tickets bought through this official channel will be special picture tickets with unique artwork designs.
