Cloverworks and Wit Studio have revealed new information about their upcoming anime Spy x Family, including its premiere date of April 9th, 2022 in Japan. They have also revealed the key visual for the anime.

The visual shows the main characters of the anime, the Forger family consisting of Lloyd, Yor, and Anya walking down the street like any ordinary family but a reflection shows their true identities; a spy, an assassin, and an esper.
This sums up the premise of the show. The spy Twilight needs to infiltrate a school to get information on a terrorist. To do this, he creates a fake family consisting of a young girl who’s an esper and a woman who’s secretly an assassin. Only Anya, the child knows the other two’s secret identities.
The original manga for Spy x Family was written by Tatsuya Endou and published in Shounen Jump+. The anime is being directed by veteran anime director Kazuhiro Furuhashi who has previously directed Dororo, Ruroni Kenshin, and the 1999 adaptation of Hunter X Hunter.
