Nintendo has just unveiled Splatoon Raiders, the first-ever Splatoon spinoff exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2, with no release date announced for now. In addition, an update to Splatoon 3, version 10.0.0, will also arrive on June 12.
What Is Splatoon Raiders?
Splatoon Raiders follows the player, taking the role of a mechanic, where they embark on an adventure in the mysterious Spirhalite Islands alongside the splat-tacular Deep Cut trio.

Splatoon 3 Big Update
The announcement trailer video reveals a Splatoon 3 free update for version 10.0.0 on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on June 12.
The update features:
- 30 new weapons from the Splatlands collection from the Barazushi and Emberz brands, having fresh looks with different sub and special weapons.
- An addition to the stage rotation, Urchin Underpass from the original Splatoon game.
- All weapon Freshness caps will be raised, and players can earn new in-game Badges.
- An addition of a new stat called Series Weapon Power for Anarchy Battle (Series), where it tracks players’ effectiveness per weapon based on their win/loss ratio in battles, and will match players with similar power.
- Performance boost for Switch 2, with more detailed visuals and smoother frame rates in certain areas, such as The Square as Splatsville, and Grand Festival Grounds.
- Cross-play support for both Switch generations, where they can go ink-to-ink seamlessly.
