SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers is a new title in the Sonic series that takes place in Starfall Islands, an area where an ancient civilization slumbers. We have more details on characters featured in the game like Amy Rose as well as the second island, Ares Island.

Sonic Frontiers has an all-new feature where they combine all the levels into a seamless Open-Zone world. Players are not bound to a course and they can progress however. They can take on Challenges all over the place or even other things in the game such as Battles, Puzzle, and Cyber Space.

THE STORY FOR SONIC FRONTIERS

The story for Sonic Frontiers has the trio of Sonic, Amy and Tails approaching Starfall Islands following traces of Chaos Emerald. However, amidst riding the Tornado, a wormhole forms in the sky sucking Sonic into the void.

Sonic finds himself in Cyber Space, a place he finds familiar yet it’s all digitized. Escaping the place, Sonic wakes up in Kronos Island, one of the Starfall Islands, an island of ruins with ancient mysteries and enemies. Sonic, guided by a mysterious voice, begins his search for his friend.

AMY ROSE AND THE KOROS

Sonic Frontiers features a number of characters, both old and new.

Amy Rose, a kind girl chasing after Sonic. Amy is trapped in Cyber Space with her body transformed into a digitized state. In this form, she communicates with the Koco and helps those that are lost.

Koco are mysterious creatures living in Starfall Islands. A lot of them are still lost and they tag along with Sonic to be returned to Elder Koco.

Elder Koco is the leader looking for the missing Kocos. If Sonic returns the missing Kocos to him, he will award by raising Sonic’s Ring Capacity or speed level.

Hermit Koco is an enlightened attaining hermithood who often dozes off. Visit him with certain items and he will increase Sonic’s power. He can also redistribute the upgrades given by Elder Koco.

ARES ISLAND, SECOND ISLAND OF STARFALL ISLANDS

Covered by Deserts and Rocky Mountains, the second island of Starfall Islands is believed to be a defensive base for an ancient civilization with remnants of colossal cannons and defensive walls around the island.

The enemies here are more powerful than the ones in Kronos Island, the first island. Cyber guardians are powerful and they drop important items when defeated. Another one is Sumo, a wrestler-like enemy trapping Sonic in and electric ring.

Sonic Frontiers is an action-adventure game by SEGA set to release on November 8^th, 2022 on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (Steam). For Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC will only be available digital only.
