According to a message shared on its official website, the studio will not only honor the history of these franchises but also push the boundaries of what fans can expect from future installments. “The dream match never ends,” reads the studio’s statement, emphasizing its commitment to both preserving and expanding the worlds that fans know and love.

KOF Studio’s development portfolio includes The King of Fighters XV, Samurai Shodown (2019), SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, and The King of Fighters XIV. Their upcoming projects include Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, a highly anticipated return to the Fatal Fury series after a two-decade hiatus, as well as an action RPG set in the Samurai Shodown universe.

The studio’s announcement also signals the development of several other exciting titles, including a Samurai Shodown action RPG and a new Art of Fighting game, both revealed during SNK’s EVO 2024 panel.
