Game developer Hi-Rez Studios has just revealed that it will be delaying the release of its upcoming game Smite Rivals. As you may already know, Smite Rivals is a collectable card arena game similar to Clash Royale.
With regards to the setback, Hi-Rez president Stew Chisam stated that “the game needs significant additional development before releasing.” The tweet from the head honcho himself as follows:

One does wonder what the delay could be, since the developers are divulging the actual reason, although it would be interesting if they felt that the game may be a little too similar to the game it is inspired by. Regardless, the game is open for pre-registration, which you may wish to consider if the idea of in-game rewards pleases you.
