SEVEN’s CODE, a rhythm game from Unlimited Studio and Applibot, goes offline after one year as planned following a system update. The game is still playable, with a fully voiced story to enjoy along with the various released songs, but it will no longer have any additional content.
The final update for Seven’s Code sees 5 new songs, with a few others still available as in-app purchases. To cap off the one year anniversary, a variety of missions are available for players to complete for a bunch of rewards.
The game is produced by Naoki Maeda, known for his work in Konami music games, including Dance Dance Revolution and Bemani series. This mobile rhythm game features over 50 songs and over 300 musical scores. There are two playable modes: Simple, and Chaos. Simple uses the familiar top-down format you know from many similar rhythm mobile games out there, while Chaos will see notes flying in from different directions and will require you to drag, press or slide accordingly.
English was added as a language option back in January, with players in over 130 countries worldwide able to play the game. With the game now ceasing updates, it doesn’t appear it is available to download anymore, but you can still check it out if you like.
